These are beautiful - a visual treat indeed. The second one, in which the flow of water is suspended by the click of the camera, is my favourite.

Your poems and photographs are a lovely start to 2009, and I'm grateful for this online community of writers. My daughter is a musician, so the Beethoven poem (and your revelations) were especially dear.

The shades of gold and green are so enticing! They suit the colour scheme of your blog, too. Blog "interior design"...

A veritable feast for the eyes and spirit - especially on these snowy days of winter. Thanks, S.L. Beautiful!

So beautiful, S.L. Like you.
I love the peace the photos bring me. You are multi-talented, that's for sure! My photographs look like a third grader took them...ha.
Take care & have fun on your journeys. We'll be here waiting for you when you return. I can't wait to read more!

Watermaid, yeah, with the second shot's droplets of water in the air looking like that, it has the effect of time standing still.
Beth, I just checked out your travel blog. I see you're in Rio! Oh, I do hope to see snapshots of the places you've visited there. Keep us posted.
KGT, ahh yes, the swan... Frankly, I don't think it likes me. (chuckle) I had to wait a looooong time for it to stretch its neck, just so I could get the last shot in this set. I had help -- on the patience bit -- from a couple of my friends who offered to give me a heads up (pun intended, haha) when the swan decided to straighten up. (grin)

Barbara, thanks!
Figgy, where have you been, sister?!! Middle of last year pa yung nabanggit mo na huling bisita, ah; about the time you last updated your other blog, right? I see you've moved to a new virtual home. I'll be dropping by your new place from time to time. Buti naman at bumalik ka sa pagsusulat ng tula; isa ka pa naman sa mga pambato ko na pinay bloggers writing poetry. You into photography, too? Hope to see some pics on your blog. Onga pala, iniba ko na blog identity ko; refer to my profile, it's been updated since last year. (big hug)
Michelle, glad to hear that; it's the effect I was gunning for. Cheers.

Rachel, haha, you are so right! Thanks for pointing it out (I just noticed). Now I just remembered I hadn't changed my blog's design for the past three years (I kept changing it during the first year). Hmm. I'll be mulling it over.
K., do send some of that snow my way. I have yet to see and touch it for myself. (sigh) It's cold and really windy here right now; haven't seen the sun in a while. January and February are the coldest months of the year (here), but no snow, no hail, of course.
Julie, it's the type of scene that appeals to me, that makes me reach for my camera, and click away with a contented sigh. Cathartic is the word, I reckon. I'm glad that came across to other eyes. I'll be uploading more photos in the coming weeks, in between posted poems. For a bit of variety. (grin)
