whatever happened to the Silver Surfer short on atom films? that was pretty cool. |
You are no longer on my Christmas list. |
I thought the Surfer's Englehart series was pretty boss, myself. Considering the duress he went under for those last six issues, they were the last really excellent comics work he produced. |
"...why we didn't get the Hoopster, with his cosmic powered slam-dunk of destruction..." |
Wasn't there a Superman/Silver Surfer team-up a few years ago? I seem to recall it involved a contest of sorts between Mr. Mxy (can't spell the rest) and the Impossible Man. |
I believe my Beta Ray Bill figure came from the toy line based around the Silver Surfer cartoon from the Nineties. Man, what a weird line of toys. |
I seem to remember kinda liking the cartoon. Of course, it's been at least 10 years since I've seen it, so I don't know how well it holds up. |
No mention of the songs that Steve Vai wrote about Silver Surfer and various other characters? |
Whoops - not Vai, but Satriani. And not only did he appear on the cover, songs were written (well, title at least, since Satch's music is mostly instrumental.) |
Ah, but what about DC's parody, the Scarlet Skier, who worked for the intergalactic fashion designer, Mr. Nebula? |
You'll get to doing a post all about Kitty Pryde by about 2017 at this rate, Mike. |
Seeing Silverado get the Unipower was a highlight of last year for me. It's probably the closest I'll ever get to seeing a Silver Surfer/Micronauts crossover. |
Actually, the Micronauts appeared in the background of ever single issue comic book that the Silver Surfer appeared in. They were sitting on his shoulder... didn't you see them? |
